A∙chik Baptist Krima No.6 is a non-profit, non-government Church organization committed to improve the lives of all walks of people holistically in South West Garo Hills, Meghalaya India, through participation and empowerment. Established in the year 1960, at then West Garo Hills which is now the South West Garo Hills District of Meghalaya, and it has been working since its inception holistically. From its humble beginnings, A∙chik Baptist Krima No. VI has grown into a vibrant organisation working with a range of people across multiple sectors and planting churches for God’s glory.

 

A∙chik Baptist Krima No. VI implements programmes in various sectors, catering to the needs of different communities in South West Garo Hills. The A∙chik Baptist Krima No.Vi has it’s registered Society named as Am∙beng Community Development Society registered  under Scoieties Registration Act of 1960 and it believes that there is no simple solution to reduce/eradicate poverty. As such, in order to overcome poverty, it is necessary to address the range of issues that poor people face on a daily basis. Tackling issues in an integrated, sustainable manner, Am∙beng Community Development Society aimed at improving quality of life of most vulnerable people of the communities.

A’chik Baptist Krima No.VI is functional in South West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya. It has 24 Mother churches with 30,943 believers scattered in the vicinity of South West Garo Hills Meghalaya.

A’chik Baptist Krima No.vi  adopts an Integrated church planting Model, which works in four main thematic areas:
